Our Journey Through the Years

1987 – Humble Beginnings
OCI began its journey in the automotive sector, laying the groundwork for a company driven by adaptability and resilience.

1995 – Expanding into New Frontiers
We added automotive condensers, followed by automotive compressors, establishing our footprint in key vehicle components and opening the door to new opportunities.

2004–2009 – Exploring the Quad Bike Market
Our product line temporarily diversified into quad bikes, reflecting our responsiveness to market demands and customer interests.

2006 – Strategic Partnership with DHC (Taiwan)
A major milestone was achieved when we partnered with DHC, a globally respected manufacturer of battery testers, chargers, and accessories. This exclusive collaboration positioned OCI as the sole distributor of DHC products in South Africa & African Regions, reinforcing our reputation for reliability, service, and technical excellence.

2008–2017 – Solar Power Industry Expansion
Recognizing the shift toward renewable energy, we entered the solar power industry. Starting with DC-AC inverters, we expanded our portfolio to include solar panels and full inverter systems by 2017 — supporting the growing demand for sustainable power solutions.
